Other Registry Offices in Portugal

In addition to the main registry offices in Lisbon and Porto, other registry offices in Portugal may also be reviewing nationality applications, according to the distribution carried out by the IRN.

Important information

Unlike the Central Registry Office in Lisbon, the Porto Registry Office does not have jurisdiction to review all types of nationality applications. Its scope is limited to specific cases, such as applications from children of Portuguese citizens, grandchildren of Portuguese citizens, and Sephardic Jews.
