United States facilitates investments for Portuguese-Brazilians: opportunities and benefits

The United States is opening new doors to attract Portuguese-Brazilian investors, offering advantages to those who have dual Portuguese and Brazilian citizenship.
With this initiative, the American government intends to strengthen economic ties with Brazil and Portugal, in addition to attracting qualified investors in areas such as technology, real estate and innovation.
This new policy allows Portuguese-Brazilians, with a Portuguese passport, to access easier entry conditions for businesses and residences in the USA, creating a bridge for business expansion and new opportunities.
Who can apply?
To apply for an investor visa in the United States, Portuguese-Brazilians can opt for the EB-5 visa or the E-2 visa, both aimed at foreign investors.
The EB-5 visa requires a minimum investment of US$1.05 million in priority employment areas, or US$1.05 million in other areas, generating at least ten jobs in the country.
The E-2 visa, available to Portuguese citizens due to an agreement between the US and Portugal, requires a substantial investment in a business in the US, with no minimum amount stipulated, but with requirements for direct involvement in management. Learn more on here.
Enjoy all the benefits of being a European citizen
