78 new Registrars begin practical training at the Registries in November.
Seventy-eight candidates for the position of Registry Officer began the practical phase of their training on November 3rd at registry offices throughout the country, including the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
After joining Institute of Registries and Notaries (IRN) In May, after completing the theoretical training, the candidates are now going through... seven months of practical training, a stage that precedes the final qualification exam for performing the duties.
At the session that marked the beginning of this new phase, held in Lisbon, the IRN's Board of Directors highlighted the strategic role of this generation of professionals in strengthening the Registries, after more than two decades without recruitment for the career.
The IRN president, Jorge da Ponte, highlighted the importance of the group in addressing the challenges of digitalization and transformation of public services, reinforcing the Institute's commitment to offering swift and effective responses to citizens.
The arrival of these 78 Conservatives is in addition to the hiring, in 2024, of 132 Registry Officers and 128 Registrars, recruited through an external competition. In August, the IRN opened more 485 vacancies for Registry Officers, who received 2,434 applications.
According to the Institute, New competitions will be launched by the end of the year., consolidating the plan to become regular recruitment processes and strengthen the Digital transition and innovation in Registry and Notary services.
