Lisbon is elected the best business tourism destination in Europe

Lisbon has been recognized as the best business tourism destination in Europe by the World MICE Awards 2023. This award, aimed at the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) segment, highlights the city for its infrastructure and capacity to host large corporate events.

In 2023, Lisbon hosted more than 150 events, including the famous Web Summit, the largest technology meeting in the world, which attracts thousands of participants and in which Martins Castro participated in 2022 and 2023. The city surpassed important destinations such as Berlin, Paris and London, and reinforces its position as a strategic center for business and innovation.
