Medical Examination Appeal for Diploma Revalidation in Portugal

Last Thursday (18.01) the medical schools released the result of the written exam, the second stage of the medical certificate revalidation process in Portugal.
Candidates who were unsuccessful and intend to contest the result, should be quick, as the deadlines are short.
Resource Request
The Regulation of the Equivalence Process to the Integrated Study Cycle of the Master in Medicine of the Portuguese Medical Schools provides, in its item VII, of letter a) of number 1 of art. 9, that candidates may request a consultation and review the exam within two working days after the publication of the result.
Deadline
With the exception of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, which closed the deadline for appeals on Friday (18.01), requests for resources may be filed until Monday (21.01).
Form of appeal
First, the request for consultation and review of the test must be formalized by electronic mail (email). With the request made, the faculty will schedule the day and time of consultation for the test and feedback, which must be done in person, by the candidate or by attorney.
At the time of the consultation, the candidate will have access to the test and it is important to check if the correction was carried out properly, checking the count of the correct answers. There have been cases in which the final count was incorrectly performed and, in such cases, the final score must be revised.
In the same act, a review of the questions that deserve to be reviewed by the examining board should be required, adding the technical foundation, based on the scientific literature, which supports such request.
